BrewersFriend checklist called for 8.74 gal (34.9 qt) of strike water, waaaaay to much. Yielded 8 gal at end of 1 hour Mash, for ultimate volume of 8.25 gal after 0.25 gal Sparge. |

Boiled for 30 minutes to reduce starting volume to approx. 7.75 gal, then ran at agressive boil to further reduce during Hop additions |

Utility sink leaked out ice bath water so placed kettle in garage to cool overnight and stored Yeast pack in fridge. Pitched Yeast Saturday, left about 0.5 - 0.75 gal in Kettle, stopped transfer to fermenter when wort started to cloud up. Yield approx. 5.25 gal in fermenter. |
