This is hands down the best beer I have ever made!
Almost 7 months on, the nose is mouth watering, and the complexity of the palate is delightful.
I would put this up against Renaissance's Stonecutter Scotch Ale any day. Just the right balance of peated malts to give it a liquor appeal without overpowering the other grains.
It's the best way to finish a night...a quiet sipping strong ale that will please everyone.
Will be making another batch again very soon! |
