WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

This recipe made me a braggot lover. No carbonation, though I am sure it would work.

Add Fermaid O at 0, 2 and 4 days during primary, Last addition is only necessary if FG> 1.03. This is drinkable almost immediately after first racking.

Alterations from original recipe: reduced honey to 5#, increased crystal malt from 10 oz to 16 oz, added 1 oz hops (@15 min).

Saaz is great for this. I have no idea why hops/IBUs aren't part of braggots in this recipe builder but low AA hops like Saaz (my favorite) work well to counter the residual sweetness. Works fine w/o hops as well.
