Taste tested the 2 kegs side by side. The unmarked keg has no aroma and very little in terms of strong flavour, and is also a little cloudy - the oaked keg however is immense, even at this stage! It wreaks of whiskey on the nose and you can taste vanilla oak after just 4 days, it is also clearer than the unoaked keg ???!!! |

Awesome amber ale. Lovely aroma from the French oak imparting a little extra vanilla flavour balanced nicely by the malts and residual unfermented sugars. |
