Notes

This beer came out with a really great flavor. If you are looking for a really nice Schwarzbier this turned out excellent. The IBU's seem high, but the calculations on here are not the best for fresh, whole cone hops. Adjust your ratio down when using pellets. I use the ratio of 3:1 whole cone to pellet ounces (i.e. 3 ounces of whole cones hops to 1 ounce pelletized hops). It has worked well for me.
