High on water. Thought I was boiling off enough especially with 5 gallon batch. I'll up to 300 watts next time and run it the entire boil. Seemed like Red IPA batch boiled off enough but not this one |

Attenuation seems to have suffered my last two batches. This one did attenuate to what the Tanglefoot recipe called for (approx. 4 deg Plato or 1.016). Really nice flavor after two weeks of Lagering. Think I will let it go for another week then keg it and lager another week or two. Nice roastiness and smooth clean finish. Like a smoother Schwarzbier. |
