Smooth brew day. Hit all the target temps in pretty reasonable time. Had a good rigorous boil, roughly 6 gal in the anvil at finish, but there was a lot of sediment at the bottom, only collected 4.75gal of wort into the fermenter. 1.054 OG. Nice amber coloring, already started to clear up in the anvil before transferring over to fermenter. |

Schedule got busy and this sat for longer than I would have liked. Fermented at 50 degrees in the basement, left for 4 weeks. Moved up to 1st floor to let warm up for the yeast to clean up any off flavors. Left for roughly another week since I just never got to it. Beer tastes great, very clear light amber color as well. Kegged and moved to the kegerator to carbonate/lager. |
