Tried not to mix the grain when doughing-in to see if it stopped the stuck mash, it didn't, and it left cold spots. Had to give it a good mix to get a good flow through pump (counter intuitive). After for 10 mins of messy mashing the next full hour was 60 mins at 64oC +/- 0.1oC - perfect. |

Good rolling boil this time. Should have left flame out hops in a separate bag during the chilling phase, ending up removing all before chilling. |

Significant amount of protein in solution but didn't wait to settle before transferring to fermenter. Trial jar sample settled clear with trub at the bottom within 30-45 mins - very clear. Tastes very fresh and quite bitter despite just 20 IBUs
Massive Brewhouse efficiency probably due to the cooler mash temperature this time. |

Bubbling within 8 hours of pitching yeast.
1 bubble every 3 secs, but with big blow off tube they are big bubbles. |

2 x full Cornies. Still a little cloudy so 1tsp/200ml polyclar added to each keg, beer Brite finings will be added in the week. Purged with CO2 and left to condition. |
