Was initially a bit of sulfur/diacetyl taste (minimal - totally drinkable), faded over 4+ weeks. Drinking so well - peak on weekend of 8/9 of Jul (about 1 month). Should condition for 1 month before drinking in future. Note - head retention was so good - causing foaming with my dispensing setup - even with reduced serve pressure + no pressure reducers. this is a once off so far, so not changing recipe for now.
Edit - 2 days of reduced carb to ~10 psi as well as removing the pressure reducing quick disconnects resolved foaming issues completely. |
