Collected 9.75 gallons @ 1.088. Continued to collect the sparge water to bring to a boil in the electric kettle while the main beer is also boiling. Will add in before first hop additions. Boiled for 1 hour down to 1.090 and 1.7 gallons. Added back to kettle and equals 9.9 gallons at 1.108. Took gravity reading and started 90 minute timer when volume equaled 8.75 expected pre-boil volume |
