It is good but not great. I ran out of pale 2-row, so ended up using ~5 lb of Marris Otter. That has left the malt profile too strong with a strong taste of bread crust. Next time, 100% pale 2-row for sure.
It is also a touch too bitter, and the lemony notes from the Cascade hops are clashing with the strong tropical aroma from the yeast. Dial back (or eliminate) the aroma hop addition. |
