WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

Boil wort in 3 gallons water
Add DME at 150 Degrees F
Add Saaz Hops for 60 minute boil
1 oz Cascade Hopps for 30 minutes
1oz Saaz Hops for 10 minutes
Cool as fast as possible to 70 - 65 degrees F
Pitch yeast on surface and stir gently. Place in cooler at 65 +/- 2 degrees F for 7 days.
Rack into secondary fermenter on day 8 and continue for 2 days at 65 +/- 2 Degrees
Cold crash on day 10 to 37 degrees F for 24 hours
Add Gelatin on day 11 and stir for one minute and continue cold crash at 37 degrees F
Rack into keg on day 14 and force carbonate to your desired level. Place keg into kegerator and cool to 38-40 degrees F for 2 days before serving.
If ale is foaming at the tap VENT KEG again if necessary or use a flow regulated tap.
Serve and enjoy!
My evaluation:
Nice head, fine bubbles with a light hop aroma and an initial sweet light malt taste with a slight bitter after taste. Very enjoyable drinkable summer brew.
