Used yeast nutrient added 15 minutes left on the boil. Also add an Irish moss with 15 minutes left on the boil. Tried to use a makeshift hop bag but it sucked. Cut it open at 30 minutes. used white labs WLP 004 For this beer. I made it with a 1.5 L starter. |

Been drinkning this for over a week and it is very caramelly and biscuity... Still for sure has that 'twang' to it. Not bad at all, just came out looking and tasting more like a Brown Ale than an Irish Red, like Killians. Not disappointed!
