Ended up having to add sugar to bring up the OG. Must have done something wrong with my mash-in. First timer mistakes. Hope it comes out ok. |

Had to leave the apartment before the immersion chiller chilled the wort completly. Sanitized and transferred to fermenter for overnight natural chilling yesterday. |

Harvested yeast. Primary Fermentation Complete. Start Secondary Fermentation. Added 2 vanilla beans to secondary. |

Final volume was 1 gallon shy of a full 5 that was intended. Very much possible that much of my prior volume was true from the included pumpkin puree (dumped at least 4 times from my Fermenter (FastFerment 7.5 gallon). Filled 4 1 gallon mini kegs. Prior to filling added 0.5 Tablespoon of vanilla to each keg. C02 cartridges installed and pressure run up to 5psi for carbination (not looking for quick carbination). |
