Quick Water Requirements
Water Liters
Heat water added to kettle (equipment estimates 26.7 L) 23.9
Mash volume with grains (equipment estimates 26.7 L) 24.2
Grain absorption losses (steeping) -0.4
Volume increase from sugar/extract (early additions) 2
Pre boil volume (equipment estimates 28.3 L) 25.5
Boil off losses -5.7
Hops absorption losses (first wort, boil, aroma) -0.3
Post boil volume (equipment estimates 22.3 L) 23.6
Hops absorption losses (whirlpool, hop stand) -0.3
Going into fermentor (equipment estimates 23.3 L) 22
WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

Ferment at 19C
Add Dry Hop on day 3 and day 5 of fermentation
Cold crash 2-3 days at 0c˚
Base malt is similar to Maris Otter
reason for DME is that mash thickness is not the greatest on the Brewzilla. Before coming to a boil I remove some wort to a jug to mix up the DME then return to kettle
