Interesting spread in OG numbers from boil complete 1.059 using refractometer, to brew day complete 1.055 using both hydrometer and refractometer. Will accept the conservative lower number. |

Collected sample to check aroma, color and flavor - all seemed OK. However, given that I brewed with untreated tap water, I approached the sample with some bias, expecting “off” aroma and flavor. Christine said it smelled fine, and was quite hoppy. |
