Notes
  • Changed the yeast from the past version (WLP001) partly because Chris claims Fat Tire uses it, and because of the appealing description:
"This strain is more fruity than White Labs 001, and slightly more flocculent. Attenuation is lower, resulting in a fuller bodied beer than with White Labs 001."

  • Also added an oz. of later hop additions, choosing Lemondrop for a bit of "lemon medley" flavoring. Target, one of the hops New Belgium uses, was the runner up, with it also being citrus-y, but a bit spicier. In part, Andy was just excited to use Lemondrop.
