4kg sugar dissolved in 4l RO bottled water, 0.8l boiling water added, extract added, then made up to 22.5 l by filling 20l fermenter with 17l and a 6l water container. Air bubbled for 5 mins then yeast & yeast nutrient pacj shared between the 2 vessels |

12/2/22 the 18l fermentor was split to fill 3x 6l Flaggons: Flaggon #1 : Brix 8.2, SG 1.009: Flaggon #2: Brix 10, SG 1.021;Flaggon #3 Brix 10.8, SG 1.026; Flaggon #4 the one kept separate: Brix 6.8 SG 1.000
Yesterday a shot of white wine recovered yeast was added to Flaggons #1-3 and all put in 20°C fridge, previously they were all at 30°C
Today while checking SG air blasted through for 3-5 mins. |
