Cold crashed the wort for 24 hours at 2C in the Keezer. Amazing result - the wort changed from cloudy to clear. Getting it out of the Coopers FV was a PITA - who in their right mind puts a square tap on a FV? Split the silicone hose and helod it in place as the transfer occurred. There was definitely some oxygenisation. Immediately put keg into keezer at 2C/10psi. |

The beer is lighter in colour than the original 19l keg transfer purchased from Tumut River Brewing Company in December despite being their wort. It is not quite as bitter as the original; however, I find it a better balance. Head is great and lasts the schooner. 10psi is perfect for set and forget carbonation on tap 1 of the Keezer. |
