Platform IPA Contest Entry 2022

NOTES:

  • Day before brew day - Double crush grain, measure strike water
  • 1 L starter (1318, 1 cup DME, 1-16oz bottle H2O)

  • Day 0, Fermented in Spike Flex @ 66F
  • Day 2, Dry hop round 1 added. Purge fermenter with CO2.
  • Day 5, increase temp to 68F
  • Day 6, increase temp to 72F
  • Day 7, change airlock to solid bung, purge fermenter with CO2, then crash to 60F
  • Day 8, lower temp to 50F
  • Day 9, lower temp to 40F
  • Day 10, lower temp to 30F
  • Day 11, Transfer to keg

    If bottling, add two sugar drops per bottle and fill using bottling wand from keg (to limit O2 expsure). Bottle condition 2 weeks to scrub any O2 from bottling.
