Decent mouth feel (a bit thin, but not too thin). Malt and yeast flavor is there but not enough to balance the hop aroma. Way to hoppy. Strong pine aroma and overwhelming lemon flavor. And too bitter. This could have been good with a stronger malt bill to balance it, but as-is it is out of balance.
It may also age out. This is only 5 days from brew day which is way earlier than I ever drink a typical brew. The process allowed for a crazy rapid turn around, but maybe it needs the time.
Couple of thoughts:
1) Lower the whirlpool hops by ~50%
2) Add some lactose to boost mouthfeel and add a bit of sweetness to balance the bitterness. |

The beer became better balanced after a few weeks and I've enjoyed it. The hops continue to be a bit too pronounced, so I still agree with earlier ideas tip dial back hops and add some lactose (maybe 1/4 lb too start) |
