WARNING: Kettle losses > 2% detected which throw off OG calculation for extract/partial mash recipes in batch target 'fermentor' mode. Solution: Reduce kettle losses, misc losses and hops absorption in equipment profile, OR set batch target to 'kettle' and do a full wort boil. See batch target FAQ.

Notes

After mash, turn off heat and add half of the DME and Nugget hops. At 15 minutes before flameout put cooling coil in pot. At 5 minutes add rest of DMA & other hops. Add 14 pounds of ice & turn on cooling water with hose to bring down to 65 F. Top up to 5 gallons if necessary. Add yeast. Ferment at 66 F until done and let condition for another week at 60 F. Package for 2.5 volumes of CO2.
