US-05 at 1.020, feels like a lot of unfermentables were left behind
Coastal Haze also at the same 1.020 area. So hardly doubtful that this will go down more. |

Not sure what was the final gravity. I kept this one week in the warm room to be sure the fermentation completes. Packaged 30 0.5l cans for this batch. Primed with around 2.5g of each. |

This beer went to my friends only but I had to of course taste it.
US-05: Clearly has more bite / bitter elements to it. Also the beer is more clear and looks like it could clear out all the way. Very clean hoppy taste.
Coastal Haze: Very different beer... funny how yeast has this much impact. A lot more esters and a lot more fruity flavor and aroma. This beer was also very smooth drinking beer compared to the US05. Color was hazy compared to US05. I preferred this yeast better. |
