Notes

Double decoction mash: Mash in at 145F hold 15 min, Pull 1/4 decoction. Heat to 160F, hold 20 minutes. Heat to boil, boil 15 min. Return to main mash to get 158-160F. Hold 30 min. Pull 1/3 decoction, heat to boil, boil 10 min. Return to main mash. Add rice hulls, stir, recirculate, collect wort in boiler. Brewed 5/29/2021.

This was a superb Czech Pils. Wonderful malty flavor. Saaz hops at perfect level - not too up front or too far back. Darker than predicted 3.8 SRM probably about 4.8 due to decoction. Chill haze - I don't care - the beer foam and flavor is sublime.
