Mash came out a little low compared to the expected number. Not really sure why other than maybe the mash temp got a little too high at one point (158-159ish) so maybe some sugars didn't get extracted as well. I ended up doing a full sparge again like yesterday which seemed to work well to just bring all the liquid in the pot up to 170 degrees. |

had a lot of liquid in the kettle and ended up getting 6 gallons into the fermenter. Could have gotten even more in. Was a little murky at the end, but still really clear overall. OG was a little down at 1.052 when was supposed to be 1.054 but not too big of a deal. |

really good taste going into the fermenter. Not too sweet and a nice little note of hop character. Really excited to see how it turns out. |
