Notes

Questions I have:

  1. Alkalinity to aim for - this is a pale beer so thinking of shooting for 20. Meaured alkalinity at 200, so
  2. Ion balance. Chloride forfward, very few hops, so 1.8ml/L HCl
  3. final pH needs to be 3.7, so pitch at pH4-3.9

    mash pH fine at just oer 5.3

    preboil 1036 27L - 94% eff

    must have mismeasured, as finished post boil at 1036. 20L very clean in FV. c80% eff

    after 4 days on second yeast it went from 1030 to 1012. Give it a few more days before bottling.
