Tastes delicious. A bit fruity, refreshing, some esters but not overpowering. Bitter, but not overly so. Good body. Cloudy. |

Cooled sample and carbonated for a taste.
Banana esters on the nose, in place for a Belgian ale like this. Maybe some spiciness too.
Taste: clean, dry (very high attenuation). Bitter! This one is for people who like bitter beer. Not suitable for dilution to make a low ABV, as so strongly attenuated, will be too thin to carry the bitterness (despite dilution). Not appropriate to bump up alcohol with sugar, as body is already quite light (and at 5.25% ABV, fine as is). So, leave as is and enjoy a clean, bitter, Belgian ale!
*Possibly* could dry hop with some fruity/tropical hops (not home-grown) to make into a Belgian IPA. Might be worth trying this with one batch.
