Notes

2/13/21 - Recipe not yet finished

8/15/21 - BREWED

NOTE - Listed yeast unavailable, substituted with Wyeast 2308 Munich Lager Yeast

NOTE - Hops AA's were adjusted as per what was written on the package.

Getting better at this - more of an art than science. I've found that getting the total water amount is key. On this one, I used close to 11 gal of water, a little much as I need to boiler longer to reduce volume. Quick Water Requirements under Print on this site is very helpful, although it's usually off on the high end, it still gives a great breakdown of what to expect.

UPDATE - 8/26/21 - Racked into glass, SG @ 1.011

UPDATE - 10/8/21 - Kegged after 6 week lager

ACTUAL RESULTS:

Total water - close to 11, a little much, again with 10.25
Pre-boil volume: 7.75 gals
Ending kettle volume: 6.5
Boil time: 120 min (too long, too much water)
Efficiency: 81%
OG: 1.063
FG: 1.011
ABV: 6.8%
Attenuation: 82%
IBU's: 24
SRM: 7.2
