Filled 23 bottles, using 60g of sugar mixed in bottling bucket instead of fizz drops. FG was 1.005. |

Easy, straightforward brew day. Warmer basement made it easier to maintain boil, but warmer ground water slowed down chilling time. Made some adjustments to aim for higher gravity: tightened mill gap all the way, conditioned grain, increased lactic acid for mash from 1 ml to 1.25 ml, decreased starting boil volume from 4 gallons to 3.9 gallons. Had about 6 cups of trub-y wort left in the kettle afterwards. Could probably reduce starting boil volume by another 2-3 cups and get things just about right. |

Racked some pretty trub-y wort into the fermentor. Curious to see how it all settles up and clarifies as it ferments. |
