Notes

Brew day notes:

-Water Adjustment additions are to 11.25 gal of water. (Only 9.25 total needed.

-Strike water heated to 178 (Rec. 166 strike) in HLT.
*Still too low. 162 in mash tun after transfer. Heated to 168. Mash temp starts at 152-156, depending on spot measured. (Dropped to 145-150 by end.)

-Added 2.6 gal boiling water from HLT to raise to mash out temp (170). Not enough. Heated to 156. Heated mash tun to 170.

-50 min fly sparge

-Pre boil, pre sugar gravity: 1.047
-Pre boil, post sugar addition gravity: 1.051
