Notes

Standard black IPA is made with debittered dark roasted malts... but I didn't want to use them, so I added food coloring. That might sound like cheating, but I wanted to achieve a specific clarity, and flavor profile while still retaining a black color. This was certainly the best option. The color will be black, so don't mind the calculated SRM.

Jet-black color is deceiving to the drinkability of this dry NEIPA. Persistent grey head oozes hops aromas!

Amazing fruity quality of lychee, pear, and tropical fruit cup from the yeast strain is backed by hops aromas and flavors of Lychee, Mango, Guava, Floral, Grapefruit, Lime, Lemon, Lemongrass, Peach, Apricot, Coconut, Pineapple, Melon, Tangerine, pinot gris, raspberries, red currant, Mandarine, Passion Fruit, and general citrusy notes and tropical fruitiness.

Soft mouthfeel is medium-bodied yet clean with absolute clarity.
