The boil on this went hog wild. I lost something like 3.5 gallons. Unfortunately I apparently forgot to take notes on the OG, but I know I had to add about 1.5 gallons of water. I *think* it ended up around 1.050 because I added a gallon of water while it was still in the kettle, then took a gravity reading after transferring to the carboy, and I remember it was still high so I added more water, and used a dilution calculator to get to a gravity of ~1.050. But because Im a dummy who forgot to actually record that I'm going to have to trust my memory. |
