Accidentally overheated the mash at around 45 minutes to 160. Cut short the boil time to 50 minutes (impatience). Likely limited my brewhouse efficiency. WL London Ale Yeast packet didn't swell too much (or was already swollen?) after 45 minutes, so pitched a second one that I had on hand. Unsure why I had such high kettle losses: ?hot weather day. |

Lots of hop particulate in the flavor at this point. Very cloudy, but not truly hazy. Lots of yeast. Wonder whether the troob level is at the level of the spout at this point--hopefully will become more compressed before packaging. |
