a really messy mash, no true bed formed and particulates and grains were circulating for the full 60 mins. Was the end of the grain sack so probably all flour and husks..... |

a little under gravity most probably due to the slightly higher end volume as the boil might not have been as vigorous as expected.
Also the end of the grain sack so lots of husks and flour....need to buy whole grains next time. |

2 full cornies kegged. Beer Brite finings added to each keg and 2ml of cascade hop aroma oil to each keg. Pressurised to 14 psi and left to condition outside of keezer (ambient temp about 8oC).
Approx 4 litres of solid trub matter in the cone of the conical - suspect this might be the positive effects of the Brew Brite finings added to the boil - which was a first with this brew. |
