boiled about 6 liters of water, mixed sugar and half of the ginger root, added boil hops. Boiled for 60 minutes and then I cooled the kettle to 60 degree of celsius and added the honey (to keep all the aromas). Then mixed the kettle stuff with cool water, hitting temp of 25 degree celsius. Added rest of the ginger roots, hops and approximately 400g of brewing sugar (OG was 1.034 so I had to raise it a bit) |

The fermentor seemed to have a leak somewhere, but so far it seemed not to have affected the mead |
