Not the OG I'm looking for. Based on the higher temp mash (154F instead of target 150F), I would have expected higher efficiency. This is the second of 3 batches with a grain single grind, so I'm convinced for BIAB, the grains must be double ground. |

I originally had ferm chamber set to 69F, but the cycling brought it down too low which I suspect stalled fermentation since it was barely going the morning after brew day. Brought it up to 71F...left for the day and came home to a more vigorous fermentation. Looking good! |

1 oz Simcoe (Pellet) for 3 to 5 days.
Fermentation had slowed but not stopped completely...good day to dry hop.

So much better compared to extract.
Would prefer a more citrusy finish than piney/earthy.
1.041 - 1.010 -> 4.07% ABV |
