Brew day 9/12/2020

added an additional ~.5 gallons b/c the mash looked way too think and was worried it wouldn't convert

after mashing in, stirring, and settling temp, total mash time was about 80-85 minutes

Filled a pot from the valve at the bottom of the foundry and poured slowly in the top to loosely simulate recirculation.

hindsight, probably shouldn't have added the extra water, so extra boil time

first time I ever measured pre-boil gravity - 1.075-1.076 after temp correction

contemplated adding some DME, but ultimately held off and will let the boil go for an extra 25 minutes before 60 minute addition bringing the total boil time to 85 minutes

OG roughly 1.082 or so, ~55% efficiency (Add DME next time)

New expected FG is 1.018
