strike=164, mash started at 155 dropped to ~153 when I did vorlauf then dropped to 145. |

performed a whilrpool and allowed to settle for 15 minutes. used a pre-chiller pre-chiller for the plate chiller. Ran the water full volume to remove hot water in lines before I started transferring to fermenter through plate chiller. Started the Plaato too early in Brewers Friend and it shows our OG to be 1 |

top popped off of my new first time used big mouth carboy. taped it down with duct tape and it went for a few hours without leaking but started up again. I pulled the carboy out of the fermentation chamber and used cargo straps to ratchet the lid down. fermentation is going fine. |

added 1 oz loral and 2 oz pekko.
replaced cargo straps with official harness with lid hold-down straps.

still bubbling but very slowly. starting to clarify and bag of hops is floating on top. mainly did this log entry to keep track of days |

seems darker than a pale ale but BF shows it's in spec. nice head and carbonation. good mouthfeel with no off flavors. maltiness and somewhat bitter. has taste of homebrew. overall it's very nice. |
