Notes

Hell or High Watermelon clone.

For water melon, bought 2 whole water melons - one for each 5 gal fermentor. Cut melons in half, scooped out guts, and potato mashed into a pulp. No other prep (heating/sanitizing - watermelons are sealed in a shell after all). Threw one in during primary and other in during secondary. I couldn't taste a difference in terms of water melon flavor between the two.

Both batches did have a distinct annoying smell of the watermelon rind. I must have gone too deep when I was scooping. I was able to mask this by dry hopping with a few oz of hop (citra was great) for a few days.

Overall not a bad beer, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.
