1.056 57 litres initially - just fits in kettle. Boiled over initially. Added at least 2 litres of final runnings once the mash had stood a while - at 1.070+ |

1.055 (1.064 using refractometer). Calibrated the refractometer to read the same. whirlpooled with electric drill. Split between two conicals. |

For some reason FG in second FV is higher at 1.018. First one is 1.011. Tastes boozy and quite strong caramel. |

Tried some from the 10L keg and it’s rough. Prob pour it away. Tried from the corny keg and that’s not so bad. Not brilliant though. |

Racked in to two bucket fermenters ready for the fridge to cold crash. One conical had a plug of yeast so one bucket is a lot cloudier than the other. First one went in to the fridge the morning after. |
