Water treatement - used 7 gallons store bought "purified" water, and added 1 camden tablet and Accumash "SRM 5-13, 1.040 - 1.060 OG, Finish: Hoppy". Robobrew was nearly full.
Pre-boil target hit, I think. Brewfather app says that's what it should be. OG readings during the boil don't show it wavering much. Recipe called for a 90 min boil but I went about 60-70; there were no bittering hop additions, so... |

Hit my Target Gravity, but there was at least .75 gal left in the Robobrew; a quart of that at least was in the hop spider... I think I'll try this one again if it turns out, but no spider... there was still a ton of trub in the fermenter. |

We have yeast activity. The silicone stopper got blown off at some point - this is the first time using one and it seems rather inflexible and hard to pass CO2...
Tilt says 1.052; Refractometer 15 Brix/1.060. Corrected to: 1.050 (BF), 1.054 (ST)
Tastes delicious so far, but there may be a hint of bubblegum(?) possibly from the warmer fermentation... |

Tilt says 1.020. Refractometer is at about 10.

Actually just guessing at the volume, there was a ton of trub and krausen in the fermentor.
I never did a "trub dump" with the Catalyst, and I can't cold crash. I did keg it with a ball float dip tube, and am using a Carbing lid. 30 PSI starting at room temp, at 8:30pm. |
