Target Water Profile
Burton on Trent (historic)
Notes
first brew of 2022; replaced my 3/8-inch ID hoses with new high temp hoses, so I can sanitize them with boiling water
the goal is a pleasant beer with enough carbonation
this will be the first batch brewed in Oakland, using our new water filtration system. the Oakland - new water profile is a guess, as is the amount of gypsum I will be adding to the mash. 5 grams seems about right.
racked to secondary (blue 5 gallon water bottle) on Thursday, July 28, wort temperature 68° F
bottled Sunday, July 31
prime with 5.5 oz. corn sugar boiled in 2 cups tap water
