It would be fun and informational to have a field available to add any contest award information related to the recipe. I like to look for beer recipes that have won awards and also would like to share my recipes that have won. It would be a nice search feature and fun show for submitters.

As it turns out, in the alpha version actually had a field for awards but it was dropped for the sake of simplicity.

How about adding a dedicated field in the Description / Notes section, above the recipe URL? That would be pretty simple.

Enabling a search for 'recipes with awards only' would take more work, but that would add value! I like it.

In the January release, we are adding an 'awards won' field to the recipe editor and allowing that as search filter option on the recipe search page. It is based on the honor system that people will only flag recipes that really are award winning. The recipe owner should back it up with evidence for the award using the URL or notes field.

The 2013 January release is live, and this feature is complete.
